Turkmen President Congratulates Uzbek President Mirziyoyev on Birthday

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of his birthday, according to Turkmenistan’s state media.

In his congratulatory message, President Berdimuhamedov praised Uzbekistan’s steady development and growing international standing under President Mirziyoyev’s leadership. He commended the Uzbek leader’s significant personal contribution to strengthening the traditionally friendly relations and comprehensive strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The Turkmen President highlighted that the close ties between the peoples of the two neighboring countries, rooted in shared historical, cultural and spiritual values, remain a strong example of genuine brotherhood. He expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to expand and deepen for the mutual benefit and prosperity of both nations.

President Berdimuhamedov also wished President Mirziyoyev good health, happiness and continued success in fulfilling his state responsibilities, while extending his best wishes for lasting peace, progress and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who was born on July 24, 1957, has served as the President of Uzbekistan since December 2016.
