Turkmenabat to Host National Uzbek Goods Exhibition and Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The city of Turkmenabat in Turkmenistan’s Lebap Province is set to host a national exhibition of Uzbek goods alongside the Second Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum on November 20-21. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Trade and the Textile Industry, Batyr Atdayev, announced preparations for these events during an online government meeting on Friday.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underscored the growing trade and economic relations with neighboring Uzbekistan, emphasizing the strategic importance of expanding interregional cooperation. He directed officials to take necessary steps to ensure the successful organization and smooth conduct of the upcoming events.
In addition to discussions on the Turkmen-Uzbek forum, other priority issues related to national governance were reviewed during the meeting.
