Turkmenistan and BIE Discuss Strengthening Cooperation Ahead of World EXPO 2025

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Today in Ashgabat, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held talks with the Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE), Dimitri Kerkentzes. The meeting, reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, focused on enhancing cooperation in the field of exhibition activities.
During the discussions, both sides explored promising areas of collaboration, including the organization of seminars on exhibition disciplines, cooperation in arranging Turkmenistan pavilions at international exhibitions, and mutual visits at various levels. The meeting also provided an overview of the “Roadmap for Expanding Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Exhibitions Bureau for 2023–2025”.
Particular attention was given to Turkmenistan’s participation in the upcoming World EXPO 2025, scheduled to be held in Osaka, Japan. Both sides emphasized the importance of the event as a platform to showcase Turkmenistan’s cultural and economic achievements on the global stage.
In conclusion, the participants expressed confidence that joint initiatives will strengthen international cooperation and further integrate Turkmenistan into the global exhibition landscape.
