Turkmenistan, UN Agencies Discuss Cooperation and Children’s Day Event
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held a working meeting with representatives of United Nations agencies in Turkmenistan, including the United Nations Development Programme, United Nations Children’s Fund and United Nations Population Fund.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed current issues related to ongoing cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN agencies operating in the country.
The participants also exchanged views on the possibility of organizing a joint event dedicated to International Children’s Day.
The meeting reaffirmed the state’s comprehensive commitment to the welfare and development of the younger generation.
