UAE Foreign Minister Congratulates Venezuelan Counterpart, Discusses Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday congratulated Felix Plasencia on his appointment as Venezuela’s Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations and International Trade during a telephone conversation.
According to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers discussed the longstanding friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation and strengthen joint efforts across various sectors in line with the mutual interests of both countries.
Sheikh Abdullah wished Plasencia success in his new role, expressing his commitment to working closely with his Venezuelan counterpart to deepen cooperation in support of the two nations’ development objectives and to promote the prosperity and well-being of their peoples.
The conversation also covered the latest regional developments, with the two sides exchanging views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The call reaffirmed the shared commitment of the UAE and Venezuela to enhancing diplomatic relations and advancing cooperation in areas that contribute to sustainable development and stronger bilateral ties.
