UAE President, Emir of Kuwait Reaffirm Strong Bilateral Ties, Discuss Regional Stability

Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, reaffirmed the strong fraternal relations between their countries during a meeting at Bayan Palace, underscoring their shared commitment to expanding cooperation in support of mutual prosperity and regional stability.
The meeting took place during Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s fraternal visit to Kuwait, where he was warmly received by the Emir. The two leaders held cordial discussions reflecting the longstanding bonds between the leadership and peoples of the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.
During the talks, both sides reviewed avenues to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of economic development, investment, and other areas that contribute to the wellbeing and prosperity of both nations.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest, with particular focus on the situation in the Middle East. They emphasized the importance of reinforcing the foundations of security, stability, and lasting peace across the region to support sustainable development and prosperity for its countries and peoples.
Following the meeting, the Emir of Kuwait hosted a luncheon in honour of the UAE President and his accompanying delegation.
The UAE delegation included His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; along with several senior UAE officials.
The Kuwaiti side was represented by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait; His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister; His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; in addition to a number of sheikhs, ministers, and senior government officials.
At the conclusion of the fraternal visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed departed Kuwait from Amiri Airport, where he was seen off by the Crown Prince of Kuwait, alongside senior members of the Kuwaiti leadership, marking the close of a visit that reaffirmed the enduring partnership and close cooperation between the two Gulf nations.
