Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates has firmly rejected reports published by certain international media outlets alleging the transfer of funds from the UAE to the Islamic Republic of Iran, including claims involving an amount of US$3 billion.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the allegations as entirely false and without foundation, stressing that no frozen Iranian funds have been released, transferred, or facilitated through the UAE.

The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to transparency and adherence to international regulations, emphasizing that the reports circulating in some media outlets do not reflect the facts.

It also urged media organizations to exercise the highest standards of professionalism and accuracy by relying on official sources and verified information.
