US-Bahrain Healthcare Partnership Forum 2023 inaugurated
Manama, The Gulf Observer: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) inaugurated the US-Bahrain Healthcare Partnership Forum 2023.
The 2-day forum was launched by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Bahrain, in cooperation with the US Cooperative for International Patient Programmes, a programme of National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL).
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the kingdom’s tireless and continuous efforts to develop the medical system and health care, while launching a group of important initiatives to enhance the quality of medical services and ensure their sustainability at a high level of efficiency.
He valued the medical cooperation between Bahrain and the United States, highlighting several distinct models of cooperation in the health sector, most notably the American Mission Hospital (AMH), in addition to the inauguration of the King Hamad Hospital – AMH, to be one of the most advanced medical institutions in the Kingdom and the region, equipped with the best medical technologies.
