Uzbek FM, U.S. National Security Advisor Discuss Strategic Ties in Washington

Washington, D.C., The Gulf Observer: During his official visit to the United States, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, Michael Waltz. The high-level talks underscored the growing strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States.

The two officials engaged in a comprehensive discussion on a broad spectrum of regional and international matters, with a particular focus on deepening bilateral cooperation. Key areas of discussion included security collaboration, economic development, regional connectivity, and the advancement of sustainable development across Central Asia.

Foreign Minister Saidov emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and expressed gratitude for Washington’s consistent support. “We appreciate the U.S. President’s continued support for Uzbekistan’s reform agenda and our joint efforts to ensure peace and prosperity in the region,” he noted in a post on his official Telegram channel.
