Uzbekistan Presidential Elections: Early voting in Fergana region
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: 1209 polling stations for the Presidential elections of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been established in Fergana region.
All polling stations are open for advance polling. A voter who cannot stay at his residence on election day has the right to early voting.
Work is being carried out at polling station No. 88, opened in the “Ishga Marhamat” monocenter in “Shodiyona” mahalla. At this polling station, 2,699 citizens were included in the voter list, and 83 used the right to early voting.
According to the Chairman of the 11th Fergana District Election Commission Erkinjon Nuraliyev, all polling stations are equipped in accordance with the requirements, and all conditions have been created for citizens. More than 70 thousand people took advantage of the right to early voting. Early voting at polling stations is held on working days from 9:00 to 18:00 and on weekends and holidays – from 11:00 to 17:00.
