Vietnam PM Reaffirms Commitment to Caring for Revolutionary Contributors

Ninh Binh, The Gulf Observer: Vietnamese Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng has reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of war invalids, sick soldiers and revolutionary contributors, describing their care as a sacred responsibility that reflects the nation’s enduring tradition of gratitude and solidarity.

During a visit to the Kim Bảng Invalids Nursing Centre in Ninh Bình Province ahead of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947–2026), the Prime Minister conveyed his profound appreciation to those who sacrificed for the country’s independence and development. He praised the courage and resilience of invalids and sick soldiers who continue to inspire future generations through their determination despite severe injuries and long-term disabilities.

Prime Minister Hưng noted that Vietnam has steadily expanded the scope of beneficiaries and strengthened support policies for revolutionary contributors over the years. He added that nationwide initiatives honouring war veterans and martyrs have attracted broad participation from communities across the country, reinforcing the spirit of national unity and social responsibility.

Highlighting their lasting contribution to the nation, the Prime Minister said the sacrifices of war invalids and revolutionary contributors remain a powerful source of inspiration, encouraging the Vietnamese people to pursue sustainable development, strengthen national defence and deepen international integration. He reiterated that the Party and State would continue enhancing policies and programmes aimed at ensuring better living conditions and comprehensive care for those who rendered distinguished service to the nation.
