First Lady of Uzbekistan Meets Mongolian First Lady

Ulaanbaatar, The Gulf Observer: As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Mongolia, First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg, spouse of the President of Mongolia.
The meeting took place in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, where both sides expressed satisfaction with the historic nature of the visit — the first-ever by an Uzbek president to Mongolia — and the fruitful high-level talks held during the visit, which were seen as ushering in a new stage in Uzbek-Mongolian relations.
During their exchange, the First Ladies discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation in the fields of education and cultural-humanitarian exchange. They underlined the importance of people-to-people ties and initiatives aimed at strengthening mutual understanding between the two nations.
Following the meeting, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg visited the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, one of Ulaanbaatar’s most prominent historical and cultural landmarks. Built in the early 20th century, the temple complex is regarded as a rare and significant monument of Tibetan-Mongolian Buddhism.
The First Ladies were briefed on the temple’s unique architectural elements, ancient sculptures, exhibits on traditional medicine, and the religious texts of Tibetan Buddhism. Ziroat Mirziyoyeva also familiarized herself with the museum’s cultural and educational activities, its contribution to the development of tourism, and its role in promoting spiritual and moral education.
