Chief of Staff of Sultan’s Armed Forces Observes Al-Hazm Exercise at Joint Command and Staff College

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Rear Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), on Monday observed part of the ongoing Al-Hazm exercise at the Joint Command and Staff College, accompanied by SAF commanders and several senior officers.
The exercise is being conducted as part of the curriculum for the 38th course, with participation from officers representing various military and security services, as well as friendly nations.
During the visit, attendees were briefed by the college’s faculty on the progress and structure of the exercise. Course participants provided detailed presentations on their engagement with the operational scenarios and shared their proposed solutions to a range of hypothetical challenges presented throughout the various stages and activities of the exercise.
Running from 23 June to 2 July, the Al-Hazm exercise serves as a capstone training component within the course’s general curriculum. It is designed to reinforce core competencies and to meet the training objectives aligned with the requirements of joint military operations.
The exercise reflects the SAF’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the preparedness and strategic capabilities of its officers and to promoting interoperability with regional and international partners through advanced military education and joint training initiatives.
