Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Meets Kuwaiti Prime Minister to Bolster Bilateral Cooperation

Neom, The Gulf Observer: His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, held a high-level meeting on Monday with His Excellency Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, at the NEOM Palace.

The leaders reviewed the deep-rooted historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, reaffirming the strength of their fraternal relations and exploring opportunities to enhance and expand cooperation across multiple sectors.

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on key regional and international developments, while emphasizing shared interests and the importance of continued coordination and collaboration between the two Gulf neighbors.

The Saudi delegation included:

  • Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Ambassador of the Kingdom to Kuwait;
  • Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member;
  • Hendi Al-Suhaimi, Assistant Minister of Finance; and
  • Yazid Al-Humaid, Deputy Governor and Head of Middle East and North Africa Investments at the Public Investment Fund.

The Kuwaiti delegation was represented by:

  • Sheikh Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director-General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority; and
  • Sheikh Saud bin Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority.

The meeting underscored the shared vision of both countries’ leaderships to deepen bilateral cooperation and advance joint development initiatives in line with their respective national strategies. Both sides affirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic Saudi-Kuwaiti partnership to serve the mutual interests of their peoples and promote stability and prosperity in the Gulf region.
