Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during an official visit to Minsk, aimed at holding consultations with senior Belarusian officials.

Araghchi traveled to the Belarusian capital on a one-day visit to engage in talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging views on regional and international developments. During the visit, he is scheduled to hold separate meetings with his Belarusian counterpart as well as the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Belarus.

Earlier on Monday, the Iranian foreign minister visited the iconic Victory Square in Minsk, where he laid a wreath in tribute to the fallen soldiers and people of Belarus. This ceremony marked the first official engagement of his visit, which also includes meetings with other high-ranking Belarusian officials.

The visit reflects Tehran’s continued efforts to expand diplomatic engagement and cooperation with Belarus across various fields.
