UAE President Receives US Ambassador to UN, Discusses Strategic Cooperation and Regional Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Excellency Ambassador Mike Waltz, Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strong strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the United States and explored ways to further enhance cooperation across a range of sectors in support of their shared interests.
The discussions also focused on the latest regional developments and their implications for regional and international peace, security and stability. Both sides exchanged views on issues affecting international maritime security and the global economy, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation to address common challenges.
The meeting reflected the commitment of both countries to strengthening their longstanding partnership and advancing coordination on matters of mutual concern.
The talks were attended by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with a number of sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.
