Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design Highlights Cultural Excellence at Russia National Day Celebrations

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Russia National Day celebrations in Islamabad featured a distinguished cultural performance presented by the Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design, underscoring the growing cultural cooperation and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the Russian Federation.

The event showcased a specially curated choreography led by Syed Usman Tahir, Advisor to the Federal Minister, Ministry of National Heritage & Culture, and Chief Executive Officer of the Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design. The performance received wide appreciation from dignitaries and guests attending the prestigious celebration.

The traditional Russian costumes featured in the cultural presentation were designed and developed by the faculty and students of the institute under the supervision of Sidra-ul-Muntaha, Head of Department. The designs reflected Russia’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, adding significant artistic value to the overall celebration.

During the event, President Asif Ali Zardari commended the cultural performance and acknowledged the efforts behind its successful execution. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation also formally introduced Syed Usman Tahir to the President, noting that the choreography, costume design, and overall cultural presentation had been carried out by the Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design under his leadership.

Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, who attended the event as a distinguished guest, also lauded the contributions of his Advisor, Syed Usman Tahir, for effectively leading the cultural presentation. He praised the institute’s dedication, creativity, and professionalism in representing Russian cultural heritage through artistic performance and traditional costume design.
