U.S. Reaffirms Commitment to Strategic Partnership with Azerbaijan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The United States has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan, saying it will continue working closely with the Azerbaijani government on key priority areas outlined in the U.S.-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter.

According to media reports, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State said Washington remains engaged with Baku on a broad range of strategic initiatives, including regional connectivity, economic investment, energy cooperation, security collaboration, and artificial intelligence.

The statement underscores the United States’ continued support for expanding bilateral ties through the Strategic Partnership Charter, which provides a framework for enhanced cooperation across political, economic, security, and technological sectors.

The U.S. Department of State emphasized that collaboration with Azerbaijan remains focused on advancing shared priorities and promoting long-term regional stability, economic development, and innovation. The remarks reflect the growing importance both countries place on strengthening their strategic relationship through practical cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The Strategic Partnership Charter, signed earlier this year, aims to deepen bilateral engagement by promoting investment, enhancing energy and security cooperation, expanding regional connectivity, and fostering collaboration in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.
