Oman Participates in 11th Istanbul International Arab Book Fair

Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is participating in the 11th edition of the Istanbul International Arab Book Fair, being held from August 15 to 23.
Oman’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening the presence of Arab culture and promoting the distinctive features of Omani cultural identity among a broad audience of intellectuals, researchers, publishers and visitors from around the world.
Through its pavilion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth is showcasing a diverse selection of publications, cultural programmes and initiatives highlighting the richness and depth of Oman’s cultural landscape. The participation also supports national efforts to preserve the country’s cultural heritage and introduce it to younger generations.
The 11th edition of the fair is being held under the slogan “The Story Continues,” highlighting the continuity of Arab cultural creativity and the enduring importance of books as a source of knowledge, dialogue and human interaction.
The international book fair features publications from more than 30 countries and the participation of over 300 publishing houses. It also hosts a wide range of cultural programmes and activities covering various literary and intellectual fields.
