Qatar participates in 21st GCTF
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: The 21st session of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) kicked off in Cairo, with the State of Qatar participating with a delegation from its Embassy in Egypt.
The session’s activities include a number of sessions on several topics of importance in the field of combating terrorism and extremism, including the challenges facing counter-terrorism efforts in the African continent, as well as a review of the objectives and work plan of the forum and the activity of its sub-working groups during the coming period.
The State of Qatar is a founding member of the Global Counter-Terrorism Forum (GCTF), which was established in 2011 by 30 members.
