Amir of Qatar begins Central Asia tour on Monday

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will begin on Monday a tour of a number of friendly countries in Central Asia at the invitation of their leaders.

HH the Amir will begin his tour in Central Asia with a visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, followed by the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will include His Highness’ participation in the Astana International Forum, and His Highness will conclude his tour with a visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the Central Asia tour, His Highness will hold talks with leaders and senior officials of these countries on ways to strengthen cooperation relations, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common concern.

Agreements and memorandums of understanding in a number of fields will also be signed.

His Highness will be accompanied by an official delegation, as well as a number of businessmen and senior officials.
