Saudi Foreign Minister meets Korea’s President

SEOUL, The Gulf Observer: President of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol received on Wednesday at the Presidential Office Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Foreign Minister, during his official visit to Korea.

Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and their wishes of continued stability and progress to the President and the government and people of Korea. The President in turn sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in all fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments and the efforts made in their regard to achieve peace and stability.

Prince Faisal also met with South Korea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin.

The two sides held an official session of talks, during which they reviewed aspects of relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen and develop them in all areas of cooperation, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues of common interest.

Also, Prince Faisal met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Korea Kim Jin-pyo, at the Korean National Assembly Proceeding hall.

The meeting reviewed Saudi-Korean relations in several areas of joint cooperation, as well as discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation on parliamentary topics of interest to the two countries.

The two sides addressed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and the efforts of the two friendly countries in laying the foundations for security and stability in the region and the world.

The meetings was attended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Sami Al-Sadhan, and the Director-General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs office, Abdulrahman Al-Daoud.
