13th Qatar International Food Festival to be held in Jan 2024

Doha, The Gulf Observer: Qatar Tourism (QT) has announced that the 13th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), the country’s biggest food extravaganza will return in January 2024.

The event will be held at the Family Zone of Al Bidda Park, coinciding with the ongoing Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha. The 11-day culinary feast is scheduled to unfold from January 10 to 20, 2024.

In a nod to cultural celebration, the 2024 QIFF will pay homage to the Qatar-Moroccan Year of Culture, offering a delectable blend of mouth-watering dishes and live entertainment curated by renowned restaurants, culinary personalities, and hospitality experts. “Don’t miss out on mouth-watering food and live entertainment from famous restaurants, foodie stars and hospitality experts,” said QT on its website.

The festival, presented by Qatar Tourism and Qatar Airways is a world-class culinary experience, bringing together industry luminaries, a cooking theatre, nightly fireworks display, and live performances of different artists.

“From the latest food trends and local delicacies to spicy street food and haute cuisine, prepare to savour a world of flavours as part of the ongoing Doha Expo 2023 – running until 28 March 2024.”

During the run of the festival, there will be over 200 food and beverage kiosks, nightly fireworks, live entertainment, chefs representing expo countries, interactive workshops, VIP hospitality, a cooking theatre, and engaging activities for kids.

Entry to the festival is free of charge. Qatar Tourism also announced that organisations that want to participate in the festival can now register through their website.
