Uzbek FM Meets Central Asian Counterparts in Rome
Rome, The Gulf Observer: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, convened with his counterparts from Central Asian countries in Rome, according to media reports. “Glad to see my colleagues – Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan H.E. Murat Nurtleu, Kyrgyzstan H.E. Jeenbek Kulubaev, and H.E. Sirojiddin Muhriddin of Tajikistan,” Minister Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel. “Our agenda is always rich and full of acute topics. We are committed to the common prosperity of Central Asia as one region for all of our people.”
The Uzbek delegation, led by Minister Saidov, arrived in Rome on May 28 to participate in the Italy-Central Asia Ministerial Conference and engage in several bilateral negotiations. This meeting underscores the commitment of Central Asian nations to foster regional cooperation and address pressing issues collaboratively, with a focus on promoting shared prosperity for their people.
