Prime Minister Chính Arrives in China for 15th WEF Annual Meeting
Dalian, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính arrived in Dalian city, Liaoning province, China, on June 24 to attend the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions and participate in working sessions in the country from June 24 to 27.
Upon his arrival, PM Chính was welcomed at the airport by Liaoning Vice Governor Jin Guowei, Chinese Ambassador to Việt Nam Xiong Bo, Vice Mayor of Dalian Leng Xuefeng, and Vietnamese Ambassador to China Phạm Sao Mai.
During the WEF meeting, PM Chính is scheduled to attend and deliver speeches at various sessions, co-chair a dialogue with leaders of WEF corporations alongside WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab, chair a forum with innovative enterprises, and hold bilateral meetings with state leaders, international organizations, and WEF businesses.
Additionally, PM Chính will engage in talks and meetings with high-ranking Chinese leaders, conduct working sessions with several Chinese economic organizations and corporations, and meet with the staff of the Vietnamese representative offices in China.
This visit aims to concretize the foreign policy directives of the 13th National Party Congress, focusing on enhancing and elevating Vietnam’s multilateral foreign affairs towards 2030. The trip also seeks to deepen the Việt Nam – China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, build a community with a shared strategic future, and strengthen relations with the WEF.
