Andijan to host International Festival “Melodies of the World”

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: On July 18-20, Andijan’s Khanabad will host the International Festival of National Pop Art “Melodies of the World”.

These days, preparations are underway for the event, and lists of volunteers, translators, and guides are being formed to accompany foreign guests.

A wide range of information and necessary knowledge about the Andijan region’s sights, shrines, and historical sites was provided. Guides, volunteers, and translators must provide foreign guests with information about Uzbekistan, the culture, customs, and traditions of the people.

English language courses are also organized for employees of restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, entertainment venues, and service sector enterprises operating in Khanabad. They are taught by experienced teachers from the Andijan State Institute of Foreign Languages. The main goal is to increase English language proficiency in communication with tourists.

Preparatory activities are underway.
