Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s national airline, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), is set to expand its international flight network this summer, offering increased connectivity and enhanced convenience for travelers. The carrier has announced plans to boost the frequency of flights from Baku to several popular destinations, including Antalya, Trabzon, Astana, Milan, and Chisinau.

To meet growing passenger demand, AZAL will introduce four additional weekly flights on the Baku–Antalya–Baku route starting May 1, enabling daily service to the Turkish resort city. Similarly, from May 12, the frequency of flights to Trabzon will rise to five times per week, further strengthening air links between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

The airline is also enhancing its Central Asian services. Beginning May 12, the Baku–Astana–Baku route will increase to four flights per week, providing greater flexibility for business and leisure travelers between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
