Bahrain to participate in CIIE 2023 exhibition

Manama, The Gulf Observer: Bahrain will participate in the prestigious China International Import Expo CIIE 2023 exhibition, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th.

As a strategic partner, Export Bahrain is spearheading this initiative, aiming to showcase Bahrain’s finest products and services in specialized international arenas, with a focus on expanding exports to promising markets.

Joining forces with Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) and Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Precious Stones DANAT, this collaboration promises to deliver exceptional results, Export Bahrain said.

Export Bahrain is taking the lead in organizing the first-ever Bahrain Pavilion at the CIIE Expo, which will serve as a captivating reflection of the kingdom’s reality and progress. The pavilion offers visitors a comprehensive and immersive experience that highlights Bahrain’s cultural, economic, and heritage assets, establishing it as a fertile hub for investment and promising development opportunities.

Meticulously designed, the pavilion incorporates creative elements that represent Bahrain’s main exports, including aluminum, steel, and gold. Through its participation, Export Bahrain aims to create new export opportunities to China, while also fostering stronger trade ties and enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations.

This strategic endeavor aligns perfectly with Export Bahrain’s mission to facilitate and expand business opportunities for exporting products and services to the global market, ultimately driving economic growth and diversification.

By participating in such an internationally acclaimed Expo, Export Bahrain reaffirms its unwavering commitment to promoting domestic products and

services. Through leveraging platforms within the scope of the CIIE, Export Bahrain identifies prospects and connects them with Bahrain-based businesses, thereby enhancing trade and economic cooperation and uncovering lucrative export channels within the Chinese market. This concerted effort significantly contributes to the kingdom’s non-oil GDP and further strengthens its position in the global economy.

Safa Sharif Abdul Khaliq, CEO of Export Bahrain, emphasised that the 2023 China International Import Expo (CIIE) serves as a testament to the strong relations and economic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China. By deepening bilateral relations, this Expo underscores the importance of enhancing cooperation to establish a robust foundation for economic and trade partnerships that mutually benefit both countries.
