CAA Oman Issues Weather Alert on Heavy Thundershowers

Muscat, TGO — Due to the heavy thundershowers expected from tomorrow (Thursday) till Saturday (from 7 to 9 July 2022) which in some areas may range from 20 to 80 millimeters within a period of 24 hours, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) alerts all to take precautions during thunderstorms, avoid crossing wadis and low laying areas, and avoid venturing into the sea during the aforementioned period.

The weather alert covers the governorates of Muscat, North A’Sharqiyah, South A’Sharqiyah, A’Dakhiliyah, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, A’Dhahirah, Al Wusta and Dhofar.
