Sisi was briefed on flood protection projects

Cairo, The Gulf Observer: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi was briefed on the current status of flood protection projects in South Sinai and Sharm El-Sheikh.

This came during a meeting between President Sisi and the President’s Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Major General Hisham El-Sweify, Director of Major Projects Department at the Engineering Authority Major General Ahmed El-Azzazi, Director of Armed Forces Engineering Authority Advisory Office Major General Ashraf El-Araby and Assistant Director of road designs in the Armed Forces’ Engineering Authority Brigadier General Abdel Aziz El-Feki.

Spokesman for the Presidency Bassam Rady stated that the meeting followed-up on the construction status of the Engineering Authority projects implemented nationwide.

Egyptian President stressed the need to apply an engineering plan that protects the area and benefits from the torrential water and stores its water. This is while taking into account the harmony and consistency of any construction with the distinctive and unique nature of that geographical spot.
