Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Holds Telephone Conversation with President Erdoğan

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a telephone conversation on Sunday with President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.

During the call, President Erdoğan extended heartfelt birthday congratulations to Chairman Berdimuhamedov, conveying wishes for robust health, prosperity, and continued success in his state responsibilities. He also emphasized the National Leader’s pivotal role in reinforcing the longstanding, friendly ties between Türkiye and Turkmenistan.

President Erdoğan further expressed his warm regards to President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, highlighting the close fraternal relations between the two nations.

In response, Chairman Berdimuhamedov expressed sincere appreciation for the kind wishes and affirmed that the Republic of Türkiye remains one of Turkmenistan’s most trusted and brotherly partners. He noted with satisfaction the dynamic progress in bilateral relations, which continue to evolve on the foundation of mutual respect and shared cultural values.

Berdimuhamedov also thanked President Erdoğan for his personal commitment and substantial contribution to advancing Turkmen-Turkish cooperation across various sectors.

On the same day, Chairman Berdimuhamedov held separate telephone conversations with Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, further underscoring his continued engagement with regional partners.
