International summer school opens in Samarkand State Medical University
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: An international summer school for medical university students has opened in Samarkand State Medical University.
It is attended by about 50 students from 16 medical universities in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Russia.
Workshops and master classes, sports competitions and intellectual games, and trips to historical places of Samarkand are organized for participants.
“This project is a unique platform for the exchange of ideas, experience, and improvement of knowledge and skills”, said Talgat Nurgojin, Advisor to the Rector of the West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov. – It also contributes to students’ meaningful conducting of summer holidays”.
