Iranian President and Qatari Emir Call for United Efforts to End Gaza Conflict

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani have underscored the urgent need for joint efforts to end Israel’s ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip, which they described as a genocidal war.
During a phone conversation on Wednesday, President Pezeshkian called for enhanced diplomatic and political cooperation among Muslim nations to exert pressure on Israel to cease its aggression and atrocities against the people of Gaza. He emphasized that such collective action is essential for restoring peace and stability in the region.
The Iranian leader also extended his warm greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to the Emir and the people of Qatar, wishing them continued peace, prosperity, and unity.
In response, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed appreciation for the Eid greetings and affirmed that the Muslim world is currently navigating a highly sensitive and challenging period. He emphasized the need for stronger collaboration among Islamic countries to help end the Israeli war on Gaza.
The Qatari Emir also voiced his hope that ongoing direct consultations between Tehran and Doha would further strengthen bilateral relations and contribute to achieving shared regional and international objectives.
