Jordan Intercepts 10 Iranian Missiles Entering Its Airspace

Amman, The Gulf Observer: Jordan’s national air defence systems intercepted and shot down 10 Iranian missiles that entered the Kingdom’s airspace early Saturday morning, according to the Jordan News Agency.
A military source at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said the interceptions were carried out in line with established defence procedures aimed at safeguarding the country’s airspace and protecting the safety of its citizens.
The source confirmed that the operation was conducted successfully, with no casualties or material damage reported as a result of the intercepted missiles.
Following the interceptions, teams from the Royal Engineering Corps were dispatched to the locations where missile debris fell to secure the sites and safely remove the fragments in accordance with standard safety protocols.
Jordanian authorities reiterated their commitment to maintaining the security of the Kingdom’s airspace and ensuring the protection of the public amid ongoing regional tensions.
