Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Meets South Korean Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kazakhstan, Cho Tae-Ick, to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation, according to a statement from the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
During their meeting, both parties reviewed ongoing collaboration in political, trade, economic, and humanitarian sectors, expressing satisfaction with the steady progress in strengthening ties between their respective governments, parliaments, and business communities.
Minister Nurtleu reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further deepening the strategic partnership with South Korea. He highlighted key areas of cooperation, including industry, energy, subsoil use, transportation, and healthcare. Additionally, he extended an invitation to South Korean companies to engage in joint investment projects, assuring them of Kazakhstan’s full support in facilitating such initiatives.
Ambassador Cho emphasized the significance of maintaining a strong political dialogue and proposed the organization of high-level engagements to further enhance bilateral relations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in expanding interstate cooperation and agreed to continue communication on pressing bilateral and multilateral issues.
