Mehriban Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva Join Children’s Event by Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Baku, The Gulf Observer: First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, together with the Foundation’s Vice-President, Leyla Aliyeva, took part in an entertainment program organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for children in need of special attention, including those deprived of parental care and the children of martyrs, NHC reports.

The event, held at “Dalga Beach” on the coast of the Caspian Sea, provided a day of joy and celebration for the children, featuring a variety of engaging activities. Mehriban Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva spent time with the children, engaging in conversations, inquiring about their experiences, and taking photos. The children, who came from orphanages, the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Down Syndrome, and a boarding school with intensive training, expressed their delight and shared their impressions of the celebration.

During the event, Mehriban Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva visited an exhibition showcasing the handicrafts of children from orphanages and boarding schools. They also participated in drawing activities with the children, who later presented their artwork as gifts to Mehriban Aliyeva. In a heartwarming gesture, Mehriban Aliyeva personally congratulated the children of martyrs and those from orphanages who were celebrating their birthdays.

The children enjoyed a wide range of activities, including swimming, dancing with animators, painting, playing games, and “Face Art.” Characters portraying their favorite heroes, along with lively songs and dances, added to the festive atmosphere.

The event concluded with each child receiving a gift from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, serving as a memento of the unforgettable day spent with the First Vice-President and the Foundation’s Vice-President.
