Oman Discusses Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Stability in High-Level Phone Diplomacy

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held separate telephone conversations on Tuesday with foreign ministers of Estonia and the Netherlands, focusing on bilateral relations, regional developments, and international cooperation.

In the first call, Sayyid Badr received a telephone conversation from Margus Tsahkna, during which both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Estonia across various fields.

The two ministers also exchanged views on current regional and international developments. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination, consultation, and support for diplomatic and political initiatives aimed at containing crises and resolving them through dialogue, in a manner that promotes security, stability, and peace.

In a separate call, Sayyid Badr also spoke with Tom Berendsen, where discussions focused on strengthening relations between Oman and the Netherlands and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation, particularly in the fields of transport and logistics.

The two sides further reviewed regional developments and ongoing efforts to address challenges affecting maritime navigation. They underlined the importance of collaborative and consensus-based approaches to ensure the stability of shipping routes, the continuity of global supply chains, and the support of the international economy.
