Oman Human Rights Commission convenes for strategic session

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) convened its inaugural meeting for the first annual session of the fifth term today, presided over by Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Balushi, the Chairman of OHRC.
The convened meeting delved into a comprehensive array of subjects, foremost among them being the measures undertaken to elevate the commission’s status to achieve an “A” ranking within the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions. Additionally, significant attention was devoted to outlining the commission’s collaborative efforts with the Ministry of Social Development in executing an extensive awareness program. These discussions encapsulated a broader scope, encompassing various pertinent topics pivotal to the commission’s endeavors.
