Oman’s Hajj Mission Wins Silver ‘Labaytum’ Award for Excellence in Pilgrim Services

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Omani Hajj Mission, has been awarded the Silver “Labaytum” Award for Excellence in Services for the Guests of Allah in the regional category for Hajj Affairs Offices across the Islamic world.

The prestigious award recognizes the mission’s exceptional performance in delivering comprehensive services to Omani pilgrims and its success in improving service quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving high levels of pilgrim satisfaction throughout the Hajj journey.

The “Labaytum” Awards, organized by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, aim to encourage competitiveness among Hajj affairs offices and enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims. The assessment criteria include institutional performance, pilgrim satisfaction, adherence to regulations and guidelines, and the implementation of awareness programs and innovative initiatives.

The Omani Hajj Mission secured the award after achieving strong results across several key performance indicators, including operational efficiency, quality of field services, guidance and awareness programs, transportation management, and compliance with health and regulatory requirements.

In addition, the mission was commended for introducing a range of innovative initiatives that helped improve the overall pilgrim experience and enrich their spiritual journey.

The recognition highlights Oman’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality services to its pilgrims and reflects the mission’s dedication to adopting best practices in Hajj management and service delivery.
