PM Shehbaz Sharif Stresses Dialogue and Diplomacy in Meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday underscored the critical importance of dialogue and diplomacy for ensuring peace and stability in the region and beyond during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad.
The high-level meeting, which lasted approximately two hours, focused on regional developments and avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, along with other senior officials, were also present during the meeting.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister expressed his pleasure at meeting Foreign Minister Araghchi and his delegation. He noted that the discussions covered a range of matters of mutual interest, including efforts to further enhance Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations.
The engagement reflects both countries’ commitment to deepening diplomatic ties and promoting constructive dialogue on regional and international issues.
