President Pezeshkian Blames Breaches, Blockades for Hindering Genuine Negotiations

Negotiations

Tehran, The Gulf Observer: President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian has said that breaches of commitments, blockades, and threats remain the principal obstacles to meaningful negotiations.

In a statement posted on his account on X (formerly Twitter) late Wednesday, President Pezeshkian reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic has consistently supported dialogue and agreements.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has welcomed dialogue and agreement and continues to do so,” he stated, while underscoring that violations of commitments, continued blockades, and coercive threats undermine the prospects for genuine negotiations.

Addressing the United States, the Iranian president criticized what he described as contradictions between rhetoric and actions.

“The world sees your endless hypocritical rhetoric and contradiction between claims and actions,” he remarked.

The statement comes amid ongoing tensions and diplomatic exchanges concerning regional stability and broader international negotiations.
