President Prabowo Engages Students During Visit to Monitor Free Nutritious Meals Program

Jakarta, The Gulf Observer: President Prabowo Subianto held an interactive dialogue with members of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at SMPN 111 Jakarta, discussing their academic aspirations and future goals during a monitoring visit of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program on Tuesday.

According to Head of OSIS Diana Putri, the President showed interest in the students’ personal backgrounds and ambitions. “The President asked about our dreams, age, and also grade,” she said in a statement quoted by the Presidential Secretariat’s Bureau of Press, Media and Information (BPMI).

During the interaction, students shared their aspirations, while President Prabowo encouraged them to remain dedicated to their studies and continuously develop their skills to achieve their future goals.

“The President advised us to remain enthusiastic about learning and to continue to strive as hard as possible to achieve our goals,” said student Rafa.

The visit was warmly welcomed by students, who expressed excitement at meeting the President in person. Eighth-grade students Nabila Andita and Nindira Safira said they felt proud and motivated by the encounter.

The students also gave positive feedback on the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, stating that the food provided was both tasty and beneficial. “It’s good and delicious. We like it. I really admire President Prabowo,” said Nabila.

The visit forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of the MBG program, which aims to support student nutrition and enhance the learning environment across schools in Indonesia.
