President Ruto to Launch Key Development Projects in Narok County During Two-Day Tour

Nairobi, The Gulf Observer: President William Ruto will embark on a two-day development tour of Narok County starting Tuesday, following a high-level consultative meeting with local leaders held at State House on Friday. The meeting, attended by Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu, Defence CS Soipan Tuya, MPs, MCAs, and Principal Secretaries, focused on strengthening national-county collaboration, advancing development projects, and promoting cohesion across political lines.
The President emphasized a united approach to development, stating:
“We are working with all leaders, including those from different political affiliations, to move our country forward.”
Key Projects to Be Launched:
Emurua Dikirr
- Issuance of land title deeds
- Launch of Shartuka-Gorgor road construction
Narok South
- Launch of:
- Sogoo-Melelo-Olulung’a road (30km, Sh3.8 billion)
- Sogoo Level 4 Hospital (Sh300 million)
- Amalo Sub-County Admin Offices (Sh30 million)
Narok West
- Launch of:
- Ngosuani-Morjo road (63km, Sh4.8 billion)
- Inspection of Narok West Deputy County Commissioner’s offices (Sh40 million, ongoing)
Kilgoris
- Scheduled visit and inspection of additional development initiatives
Earlier, Ruto also held separate talks with Maa community governors to address security and development priorities across the wider region.
This tour—postponed from its original date last month—underscores the administration’s commitment to infrastructural growth and service delivery in historically underserved areas.
