Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the “Azerbaijan” Park in New Tashkent, marking another milestone in the growing ties between the two brotherly countries.

The new public space will showcase Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, centuries-old history and national traditions, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the country’s cultural identity.

The park is expected to serve as an important cultural and public venue while contributing to the further strengthening of the longstanding bonds between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The establishment of the “Azerbaijan” Park in New Tashkent, alongside the “Uzbekistan” Park in Baku, represents a tangible symbol of the centuries-old friendship, mutual respect and shared cultural affinity between the two nations.

The two parks are also expected to reflect the strong and dynamically developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and reinforce people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
