Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Iran’s attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure in the Gulf region, including a power generation and water desalination plant in Kuwait, while renewing its call for an immediate end to military escalation.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of Iran’s continued attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, describing them as violations of international law and the principles of good neighborliness.

The Kingdom reaffirmed its full solidarity and support for the three countries, emphasizing its backing for all measures they may take to safeguard their security and respond to the attacks.

Saudi Arabia stressed that targeting civilian infrastructure poses a serious threat to regional stability and the safety of civilians, calling on all parties to respect international law and refrain from actions that could further intensify the conflict.

The Kingdom also underscored the urgent need for an immediate cessation of all forms of military escalation, urging efforts to preserve peace, security, and stability across the region and protect the wellbeing of its peoples.
