Saudi Crown Prince, Jordan’s King Discuss Regional Stability in Jeddah

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman received King Abdullah II of Jordan on Wednesday in Jeddah, where the two leaders held high-level talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing key regional developments.
During the meeting, the Saudi Crown Prince and the Jordanian monarch reviewed the close and longstanding ties between their nations and explored avenues for further cooperation across a range of fields. The discussions underscored the importance of continued coordination and strategic alignment between Saudi Arabia and Jordan in matters of mutual interest.
The leaders exchanged views on pressing regional issues, with particular emphasis on developments in the Arab and Islamic worlds. The meeting also focused on the security and stability of the Middle East, including ongoing challenges and efforts to foster peace in the region.
The talks were attended by several senior Saudi and Jordanian officials, including Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban. Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II also joined the meeting, reflecting the depth of bilateral engagement at the highest levels.
According to Jordan’s official news agency Petra, King Abdullah expressed pride in the deep-rooted historical relationship between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The two leaders held detailed discussions on regional affairs, particularly the humanitarian and political situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.
Following the meeting, King Abdullah and his accompanying delegation departed from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The Jordanian monarch was seen off by Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal and a number of senior Saudi officials.
The visit reflects the shared commitment of both countries to maintaining strong diplomatic ties and coordinating efforts to promote stability and development across the region.
