Saudi Crown Prince, Syrian President Discuss Security and Reconstruction in Phone Call

Riyad, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa held a telephone conversation on Sunday to discuss the latest developments in Syria and ongoing efforts to support the country’s security and stability, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the call, Crown Prince Mohammed reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast commitment to preserving Syria’s unity and promoting political solutions aimed at ensuring long-term peace and security. He also underscored Saudi Arabia’s readiness to contribute to Syria’s reconstruction and expressed interest in expanding bilateral economic and investment cooperation in the coming period.

A statement from the Syrian Presidency noted that President Al-Sharaa expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s continued support. He commended Saudi Arabia’s constructive role in promoting Syria’s territorial integrity and in fostering regional stability.

The exchange marks a continuation of recent diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring and strengthening ties between Riyadh and Damascus, as part of broader regional realignment and reconciliation initiatives.
