Tajik President Rahmon Congratulates Iran on Peace Agreement with United States

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation on Thursday with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, during which he congratulated the Iranian leadership and people on the achievement of a peace agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States.
According to an official statement, President Rahmon, who is also recognized as the Leader of the Nation, extended his sincere congratulations to Iran on the successful conclusion of the peace accord, describing it as a significant development for regional and global stability.
During the conversation, the Tajik leader emphasized that the landmark document signed by the heads of state of Iran and the United States holds great importance for ensuring lasting peace in the Middle East and beyond. He noted that the agreement could contribute to strengthening international stability, security, and sustainable development.
President Rahmon also conveyed his best wishes to the Iranian people, expressing hope for enduring peace, stability, and security in the country and across the wider region.
The two leaders reviewed key aspects of bilateral relations and discussed prospects for further strengthening cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
