Tajikistan, EU Discuss Expanding Strategic Research and Analytical Cooperation

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: The leadership of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held discussions with a delegation from the European Union on strengthening scientific and analytical cooperation, exchanging experience, and expanding contacts between research institutions, according to media reports.
The meeting was organized at the initiative of the EU Delegation and focused on reviewing the current state and future prospects of regional cooperation between the European Union and Central Asia. The discussions covered a broad range of issues related to diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and the EU, as well as avenues for both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
During the talks, it was emphasized that cooperation with the European Union is among the priority directions of Tajikistan’s foreign policy. The sides noted that in recent years, relations have been developing steadily across various spheres, including political, economic, social, and analytical fields.
Participants also exchanged views on the analysis of regional and international processes, foreign policy outlooks, and opportunities for implementing joint projects in the area of strategic research.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation, underscoring the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue and strengthening partnerships in the mutual interests of Tajikistan and the European Union.
