Tajikistan to Train More Than 20 In-Demand Professions at Adult Education Centers

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: More than 20 in-demand professions will be taught at Adult Education Centers across Tajikistan, providing citizens with practical vocational skills to improve their employment prospects and meet the evolving needs of the national labor market.

According to the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population of Tajikistan, the training programs are designed to equip job seekers with market-oriented skills in professions that are currently in high demand across various sectors of the economy. The initiative aims to enhance workforce competitiveness while supporting the country’s socio-economic development and reducing unemployment.

The vocational courses will be offered through Adult Education Centers operating in different regions of the country, enabling trainees to acquire practical skills within a relatively short period. Graduates will receive professional qualifications that are expected to improve their opportunities for employment or self-employment.

Officials noted that the program reflects the government’s continued focus on developing human capital by aligning vocational education with labor market demands. The initiative is also intended to strengthen the availability of skilled workers for key industries while expanding economic opportunities for young people and job seekers throughout Tajikistan.
